What I’m (Kacee) Learning in This Season
01. EMBRACE Suffering
Have you ever suffered as an entrepreneur? You’re right on biblical track, if so. Jesus said in Philippians 3:10, “that I may know Him and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” Suffering is not if, but when — as a Christ-following, business-building girly. And on the other side of suffering is glory, fruit, a more Christ-like and Jesus-glorifying business and woman (you), new levels, and breakthrough.
Even Jesus Himself partitioned God in his final moments on earth that the cup pass from Him... “yet not my Will but Your Will LORD,” he responded. Even Jesus resisted His portion of dying on the cross to save us; He resisted... suffering.
Suffering is never fun, but it’s part of the process.
If you find yourself weary in the process, you’re not alone. AND in that place, I pray deep, deep strength over you. The cost is worth it.
02. Your Business Was Never Meant to Be Your Whole Life
Your business was never meant to be your whole life. It was meant to support the life you’re building.
We work to live. Not live to work.
Somewhere along the way, hustle convinced us that rest is lazy and joy has to wait. But that’s not how God designed this. He didn’t just call you to build. He called you to live.
So go dance. Go laugh too loud. Go do the thing that has nothing to do with your business and everything to do with your soul.
Your business should fund your life, not replace it.
Go live. Then go build. 🤍
03. Thank Your Closed Doors
As an entrepreneur God has been in the midst of every obstacle. If something isn’t working out that just means there’s a better way waiting to be discovered.
Thank your closed doors and PRESS ON. Don’t give up. Search for those solutions and keep creating.
